I would say by now that The Santa Clause is officially a "Holiday Classic", wouldn't you? And I hope the same will come to pass for it's recent sequel: The Mrs. Clause. Ever since the first one, a fan fic idea has been slowly coming to life, devolping as I also develope as a writer. I now have a cast of characters and a plot line I finally deem worthy of fanfiction.net, so I will go for it. If you're looking for the antics of Scott Calvin, you've come to the wrong place. He will be in it, but so briefly you'll probably never notice. Charlie will also be in it, but of the official charas, the main focus will be on Bernard and Curtis.

The story begins as Bernard heads off to a deserted island in the Caribbean, leaving Curtis in charge at the Workshop. He's worried because his older brother Maigri (pronounced "May-gree", one of my charas) is coming back from his one hundred year vacation. While on the island, a storm hits, and in its wake, Bernard finds a seventeen year-old girl washed up on the beach. Her family is dead, and she knows he's an elf, so he's forced to take her back to the North Pole with him. The catch? According to the Rule Book, she now must be his slave...

As the story progresses, Bernard finds he's falling in love with the girl. He's afraid to get close to her for many reasons, but mainly is afraid to listen to his heart. Later, a mysterious girl named "Destiny" pops in from the future, claiming to be something called The Regent (Under Santa, but above the Head Elf). Who is she? Why on Earth does she look so much like Bernard? Her sole purpose is to protect the North Pole from a pending disaster: the great Holiday Crisis!
